If The staffing industry

The Swedish Public Employment Service's monopoly on the provision of jobs gradually disappeared with changes in the law in the early 1990s and in 1994 it became completely legal with temporary and recruitment companies in Sweden. Since then, the development has been rapid and the industry has experienced strong growth. However, temporary work agencies in Sweden still have a small market share compared to the rest of the world. This means that until now we have only seen the beginning of the staffing industry's growth potential in Sweden.

Temporary work agencies communicate labour between different parts of the country and even out differences in the availability of labour. It is a positive experience for employees to be able to see new workplaces and to meet new colleagues. Temporary work agencies often act as a gateway to the labour market for young people, the long-term unemployed and new arrivals.

It is a positive experience for both temporary work agencies' employees and regular employees to gain new impulses and learn from each other.
