On 25 May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation will be introduced across the EU. ExpanderaMera has, among other things, developed this data protection policy as part of compliance with the regulation. The data protection policy will apply from the introduction of the Directive on 25 May.

ExpandMera cares about your privacy. In our data protection policy, we explain how we collect and use your personal data. In the policy you can also read about your rights against us and how you can enforce your rights. If you have a complaint regarding ExpanderaMera's personal data handling, please submit these to the Data Protection Inspectorate.

It is important that you read and understand our data protection policy before using our services or looking for work with us. By registering with ExpanderaMera as a job seeker, taking up employment with ExpanderaMera or hiring us as a staffing or recruitment provider, you accept our Data Protection Policy and our processing of your personal data. ExpandMera uses electronic communication channels to send you information.

This policy covers all companies in the ExpanderaMera Group.

Information we collect

The information is both such that you provide to us and that we collect, below you can read more about the information we collect for you as an employee, job seeker, customer and supplier.

Job seekers
Information you provide to us. When you apply for a job with us, you will provide us with information partly via documentation such as CV and partly during a personal interview. This is information that we use in our recruitment work.
The information can be:
Personal and contact information – name, date of birth, social security number, address, e-mail address, mobile phone number, etc.
CV and other information about your professional life – documents such as CV, cover letter, various certificates of your competences

Information we collect about you. When you apply for a job with us, we will request references. We ask questions to your references about your professional skills and you as a person, which forms the basis of our recruitment work. If necessary, we may also need to contact trade unions and/or authorities to check that you hold the required certificates and/or professional certificates.

Employee
When you apply for work, we collect information about you. During your employment, we will also collect information, for example, to be able to pay your salary, follow up on your work environment and work performance. During employment, you will receive detailed information about what personal data we process within the framework of your employment.

Information you provide to us. This includes, for example, information about a close relative, information about bank and account information, information about trade union affiliation, working times, image for ID06, information about the work environment on projects where you work and information about sick leave.

Information we collect about you. We follow up your work with quality follow-ups with our customers.

Customer
Information you provide to us. When you hire us as a staffing or recruitment provider, we will need information about the contact persons with you that we will be in contact with.

Information we collect. In our customer processing, we map contact persons at customer companies for further contact and marketing.
The information can be:
Personal and contact information to contact persons – name, e-mail address, title and mobile phone number.

Supplier
Information you provide to us. When we enter into a collaboration or contractual relationship, we will need information about the contact persons with you with whom we will be in contact.
The information can be:

Handling of information

All data is used to provide, perform and improve ExpandMera's services and to communicate with you. Detailed information about how ExpanderaMera specifically processes personal data is obtained in connection with employment or when you register with us as a customer or job seeker. Suppliers are provided with information in connection with the commenceance of cooperation or a contractual relationship.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

Sharing of information

Employee
We may share your information with selected third parties. In doing so, we will take all reasonable legal, technical and organizational measures to ensure that your personal data is handled securely and with an appropriate level of protection when transferring to or sharing.

Suppliers and subcontractors such as companies within the ExpanderaMera Group. ExpanderaMera may share your personal data with suppliers or subcontractors to, for example, book you in for eligibility courses or order ID06.

Customers. When you work with our customers, they need to access your personal data in order to register in electronic personnel registers and to make the correct composition reconciliation. Customers will also take note of your reported times.

Trade unions and employers' organisations. In order to comply with collective agreement rules and labour law laws, ExpandMera will need to share your personal data with trade unions with whom we are bound by collective agreements as well as with our employer organisations.

Authorities. ExanderaMera may provide the necessary information to authorities such as the Police, the Swedish Tax Agency and other authorities if we are obliged to do so by law or if you have approved that we do so.

Job seekers
Customers. We present your anonymous profile to our customers who are requesting staff. The profile includes information about your professional competence and professional background but never a name, phone number or social security number.

Customers
Employees. When our employees work on projects with you, they get information about the names and numbers of current contact persons on your projects.

Processing of personal data (geographically)

Your data should be processed within the EU/EEA but may in exceptional cases be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside the EU/EEA by another supplier or subcontractor. We will then take all reasonable legal, technical and organisational measures to ensure that your data is handled securely and at the appropriate level of protection comparable to and at the same level as the protection offered within the EU/EEA.

Retention of personal data

We only store your data for as long as it is necessary to carry out our commitments to you as an employee or customer and as long as required by statutory retention periods.

Job seekers
When you apply for a job with us, you may give consent for us to be able to process your personal data collected during our recruitment process. We obtain consent every 3 years and you can choose to withdraw your consent at any time, which leads to your profile and thus your personal data with us being deleted.
Please note that our handling of your data is also based on a legal obligation regarding the Discrimination Act.

Employees
When you become employed by us, you will receive information about how we process your personal data within the framework of our business. The information clarifies what data we process, with what purpose, how the data is processed, by whom the data is processed and disclosed to and on what legal basis the processing takes place.

Customers
As long as you have ongoing projects and if there are remaining commitments such as chord reconciliation, we will save your information. In addition, we will save your data as long as it is necessary for us to maintain the relationship with you. Deletion occurs if we become aware that the data is no longer adequate or relevant for the purpose or at your request.

Right to access your data
You can request information about what personal data about you we store and verify the information we have about you once a year.

Right to rectification
You have the right to correct incorrect or incomplete information about yourself.

The right to be forgotten
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data in cases where the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Please note, however, that there may be legal obligations for ExpanderaMera that prevent us from immediately deleting parts of your data.
